HUMANITARIAN AND DEVELOPMENT AID

Each year, development and humanitarian aid agencies provide billion in funding for a wide variety of development and humanitarian aid projects in countries around the world.

CCIP organizing projects and financial campaign for the Microcredit necessary to start small businesses. According to the UN's Capital Development Fund: "Comprehensive impact studies have demonstrated that:

- microfinance helps very poor people meet basic needs and protect against risks;
- the use of financial services by low-income households is associated with improvements in household economic welfare and enterprise stability or growth.

Microfinance is a long term investment in human potential that has the power to generate long term economic returns while simultaneously improving grass roots political and social involvement. While third-party institutional aid programs that try to dictate development in emerging nations from the top down have historically failed, microfinance has the promise of promoting in-country development from the bottom up.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT ACTIONS

Ensuring and promoting sustainable development–which entails balancing economic growth, social equity and environmental protections–throughout the Western Hemisphere continues to be one of the chief objectives of the CCIP. Through its Task Force of Experts for the Sustainbale development, the CCIP oversees numerous projects and programs aimed at achieving concrete results. The CCIP plays an important cooperation role in the world focused to the followoing sectors: Water Resources Management, Energy and Climate Change Mitigation, Risk Management and Adaptation to Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Land Management, Exchange of best practices, Environmental Law, Policy and Good Governance

HUMAN RIGHTS

URBAN REVITALIZATION

Our mission is to promote and protect human rights with the partership of public and private institutions including NGO. The CCIP has created a Human Rights Working Group (HRWG) with over 12 researchers whose research is closely related to human rights under international law, European law or constitutional law.

The Human Rights Working Group (HRWG) provides researchers with the opportunity to present their research in an informal environment, to reflect on current developments in human rights theory and practice, to liaise with similar working groups in other public and private institutions and universities, to host events and seminars.

Activities include workshops, conferences, guest lectures and informal group discussions, and are often held in collaboration with other working groups.

The Human Rights Working Group (HRWG) organises missions and study tours with international partners.
